Of course, since I live in Japan and no longer teach English to people under the age of 12, this actually doesn&#8217;t mean a whole lot anymore. To be fair, stores do decorate with jack o lanterns and the typical orange, purple, and black.. But otherwise it doesn&#8217;t much live up to my typical Halloween experience. Gotta provide your own campy horror movies, since late night cable tv won&#8217;t do it for you, y&#8217;know?<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, my company did have a Halloween bank sale today, with all the proceeds going to the victims of the March 11th earthquake. It&#8217;s the best of both worlds: I get to eat brownies <strong>while working<\/strong> and feel good about myself at the same time. How many times do you have a chance to do that in life?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m actually on my lunch break right now (which is rapidly coming to an end), but felt like remarking on it being Halloween and otherwise mentioning that I&#8217;m still not dead yet (go me!). I can&#8217;t believe November&#8217;s almost here, and that the Christmas season is a hop, skip, and a jump away! That means I get to go out and buy a nice, fake Christmas tree in the next 30 days, and begin my overly-enthusiastic month-long Christmas extravaganza. I have multiple Santa Claus hats and Christmas lights, along with 54 hours of Christmas movies. Oh yes, it will be awesome.<\/p>\n<p>With that, I should get going!
