I was supposed to drive to another city this morning to go teach a 2 hour private lesson, so I woke up early, got everything ready to make handouts, got dressed and had my bags ready when suddenly my phone rings and my boss tells me my class is cancelled. Yay!!!! There is little that is more awesome than suddenly finding out that your day has been cleared. To celebrate, I went to a cafe and sent the past few hours reading a novel (murder mystery book in Japanese. It’s interesting, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever really need to know the word for “strangulation”). Not a bad way to spend a day. I also learned that I’ll be heading out on Thursday to another city to record audio for prefecture-wide English tests (the audio recordings you hear on tests where you listen to a dialogue and choose the best answer. Yes, I’m the guy who records that stuff). While my job may be boring at times, I have to say that it has given me a lot of opportunities for experiences I normally couldn’t have.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I should get going and head to my next work place in a bit. Will probably wander the mall first. Over all, it’s shaping up to not being a bad week at all!<\/p>\n
