Juxtaposed in Japan

03/19/2007: "Let's go, try number 2"

Current Sounds: Those loud laptop cooling fans

I should be returning to America tomorrow, weather permitting. Already missing two days of class, and about 48 hours until two midterms.. we'll see how it goes. It took a joyous two hours on hold until I finally was able to get in touch with someone and arrange my return flight, but at least I was able to get it done. Tuesday isn't quite Saturday, but.. not much you can do.

What I find weird, however, is that apparently having my flight cancelled and being stuck in another country is not considered an 'excused absence' from class. I'm sorry, but.. how exactly am I supposed to get to class? It's not like I'm in Cancun and decided to hang out with assorted women with names I can't pronounce for a few more days and just skip class. No, actually, I gave myself ample time to get back and weather did not permit. I'm just a little annoyed with this, even though it's really not important. I had perfect attendance up to now, so I can afford to miss the class. But it's the principle of the matter.

For some reason, I've lost any form of appetite since I woke up today.. probably due to nerves or some such. After the shock last time, you never really know what's going to happen upon arriving at the airport tomorrow.

Anyway, I need to get back to charging all the random stuff that's supposed to keep me entertained on the airplane and through the layovers at airports tomorrow. Next time I write, I'll ideally be back in America. And then, uploading photos.
