Did the Closing Ceremonies today. Had a lunch in a large conference room in a hotel and was in charge of all the A/V stuff, microphones, and playing movies for the group of 210~ people who attended. Pretty interesting day all in all, though I admit it's really sad to see all these people who you had spent the past 4-8 weeks with up and leave. While my job as 'lab monitor' puts me in a semi-distant post from many of these students, I still saw alot of them on a nearly daily basis, and some I actually spent alot of time talking to and forming relationships with.
I have a week off starting now, nothing to do until a week from Monday, so I'm going to try to find some stuff to keep myself busy, or maybe go out some places with some people who are still in town (my, wasn't that a detailed sentence?)
I really, really need sleep. But in the mean time, here's a photo from the closing ceremony. Me and one of the students (a girl named Jenny, from Taiwan). She actually gave me a small present a week before the closing ceremony.. pretty touching, to be honest. You don't really realize how much you actually impact people sometimes.

awww...that is touching...
i noticed in a previous entry you complaining about people not letting go of the fact that you're single. i can relate right now-people are always asking so do you have someone right now? They can't seem to comprehend that i don't WANT one that i'm content working on myself and getting better and working and going to school and forming friendships. *shakes head* people just don't understand sometimes but you're okay as you are jason. how you feel about is all that matters
