Juxtaposed in Japan

08/22/2007: "[At Work] School has begun"

So yesterday was first day of classes. Overall, they went pretty well. Aside from Japanese, I think they're going to be relatively simple and not require much input from my end in order to do decently. Not bad, per se, but it means that I'll have my head sitting on various desks for about 4 hours a day, or otherwise studying Japanese/reading a book/what-have-you. Not to say that it'll be entirely effortless, but I'm sure you understand.

Japanese, of course, is a different story, but I think it'll be a good class. Having to actually do work in that is a good thing, and ideally will mean that I may learn something.

Right now, I'm pretty much just waiting around for something to happen. Students are in class, so not much is happening in the computer lab. I need to do some Japanese reading sometime before tomorrow, but I think that can be arranged. It's just a waiting game, I guess.

I also think I might be sick, but it's been for nearly a week now, which is incredibly annoying. I don't like taking medicine, and I don't like being stuffy. Blah.

As for other things going on, no changes in the condition of my coworker. Still mostly comatose in the hospital... I try to not dwell on it, as there's nothing I can do.. but it really is terrible.

I should go and run some errands or otherwise keep busy. I'll write later..
